The Shrine of the Báb on Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel, was one of two major Bahá'í holy places inscribed on the UN World Heritage list in July 2008. The permanent resting place of the sacred remains of the Báb, the Forerunner of the Bahá'í dispensation, it is a major point of pilgrimage for the five million Bahá'ís worldwide.







I hope that everyone had a nice Christmas. I know that I certainly did ! I drove to the south of France to stay with friends in the Lot Department with whom I have spent the holidays with for the last ten years. The drive from Cherbourg went well enough although I had some fog between Caen and Tours. After that, there was plenty of rain. This made the total drive 9 hours and 5 minutes.
